LEXUS IS500 series rear door outer only. The biggest obstacle to competing with four doors is the weight of the doors. For the rear doors, we focus solely on reducing weight and only manufacture the outer parts. The reverse side is made of carbon-Kevlar hybrid (aramid) which has high shear strength. Stock weight 21kg. Carbon door outer only: 2.0kg.
